Francesca’s treatment philosophy includes facilitating her clients’ awareness of their breath and mind. She has mindful awareness as she treats and aims to create a space of stress release and mind-body reconnection for her clients
She approaches treatment as a relationship, where an environment is being co-created for tissue healing and regeneration. She uses different manual techniques based on what she is treating and uses a holistic perspective with her anatomical and physiological knowledge of body. Francesca treats indirectly, using the power of the parasympathetic nervous system to allow access to the areas that need attention. The parasympathetic nervous system is the system that is running our body when we are relaxing and feeling a sense of wellbeing and embodied joy. Organic oil and calming music are used.
Francesca studied massage therapy at WCCMT and has been registered since 2004. She takes Continuing Education courses with a focus on myofascial, visceral and cranial sacral therapy and uses aspects of these modalities in her treatments.
Being a Certified Yoga Teacher and Certified Ayurveda and Yoga Wellness Counsellor, she loves the knowledge and wisdom of ancient India. She started studying World Religions and Philosophy at 18, and was introduced to Yoga on an Indian Rooftop at 20. She has taken international and local Yoga, Ayurveda, Meditation and Mantra retreats and courses over the years, and continues these studies with the American Institute of Vedic Studies.
